On 18 September 2024, Professor Gürkan Selçuk Kumbaroğlu, Vice President of Boğaziçi University (BU), Turkey and Xiaoqi Sun, Vice Dean of Institute of Area and International Communication Studies, Shenzhen University visited the College of Economics and Management (CEM) at Nanjing University of Aeronautics and Astronautics (NUAA). Jizhou Lai, director of International Cooperation Office, NUAA, Min Shen, Deputy Director, International Cooperation Office, NUAA, Qunwei Wang, Dean of CEM, Naiming Xie, Donglan Zha and Linhan Ouyang, Vice Deans of CEM along with the representatives from the three departments of CEM attended the bilateral meeting. 

Firstly, Professor Gürkan S. Kumbaroğlu, at the invitation of Xiaoqing Hao, teacher of CEM, delivered an academic lecture titled Energy Transition in Europe: Renewable Power Generation, Hybridization, and E-Mobility for Sustainability to the faculty and students of CEM.

At the bilateral meeting, on behalf of NUAA, Jizhou Lai extended a warm welcome to professor Gürkan S. Kumbaroğlu. He hopes that BU and NUAA could deepen the cooperation through joint training, joint scientific research and exchange for faculty to achieve mutual benefits.

The visit of Professor Gürkan S. Kumbaroğlu is set to enhance the relationship between BU and NUAA. Representatives from both sides engaged in in-depth discussions on various topics.
