On 12 September, 2024, Prof. András Nemeslaki, Vice-Rector for International Affairs at Budapest University of Technology and Economics (BME), Hungary was invited to visit the College of Economics and Management (CEM) at Nanjing University of Aeronautics and Astronautics (NUAA). Professor Qunwei Wang, the Dean of CEM, Donglan Zha and Zhipeng Zhou, Vice Deans of CEM along with the representatives from the three departments of CEM attended the bilateral meeting.

On behalf of CEM, Professor Qunwei Wang extended a warm welcome to Professor András Nemeslaki, offering a compelling overview on potential collaborations between the two institutions. Professor Donglan Zha, provided an in-depth introduction of the attendees.

Prof. András Nemeslaki offered an insightful overview of BME, including its history, structure of organization, and international programs. He introduced the research strength and recent achievements of BME.

During the meeting, Prof. András Nemeslaki and the faculty of CEM discussed the detailed area of cooperation, such as the development of MBA programs, joint research, summer courses, and the exchange of students and faculty.

The visit of Prof. András Nemeslaki would not only strengthen the ties between BME and NUAA but also clarify the areas of long-term collaboration. Both institutions are optimistic about the potential of this partnership so as to collectively achieve the excellence in research and education.
