Title: Voting Procedures Selection in Context
Abstract:
Voting procedures (VP) can be used to deal with several group decision problems. The talk will deal with the application of these VPs in business organizations and present a framework for choosing a particular VP to be used within organizations' contexts. It explores part of the decision-making process related to the choice of the VPs based on their drawbacks and the proprieties desired to be aligned to business strategies.

Brief introduction of the lecturer:
Danielle Costa Morais, associate professor of Department of Management Engineering, Federal University of Pernambuco, Director of Decision and Negotiation of Water(DNW) research group, researcher of Center for Decision Systems and Information Development (CDSID), member of Editorial Board of Group Decision and Negotiation, and member of Multi Attribute Decision Making Branch of INFORMS. She received a master's degree and a doctoral degree in Management Engineering from Federal University of Pernambuco, and was awarded Research Productivity Award by CNPq (Brazil NRC). Her research interests include MCDM/A, group decision making and negotiation, operations research and water resources management. And she has published more than 60 papers in many famous international academic journals.
