Zhou Dequn, the dean of the College of Economics and Management, has been in Republic of Lithuania for Erasmus of EU and the international symposium of JEUL together with Lu Hengzhen and He Shawei from 4th to 8th in June, 2018. And this symposium is held in Vilnius University which lies in Vilnius, the capital of Republic of Lithuania.
The Faculty of Economics+ and Business Administration of Vilnius University, the host of this symposium, gives the participants a brief introduction about their university and show them around their main campus which is established in the 16th century.
Concerning the theme of the bridge between enterprises and universities, Vilnius University and SKODA AUTO University both present their cooperation with enterprises. The unique cooperation of SKODA AUTO University attracts the participants to give rise to a warm discussion. Zhou Dequn and He Shawei impart experience in this symposium.
Combining with the specific classes, the teacher from Vilnius teaches us how to have a class with examples by using the enterprises’ resources. Furthermore, participants introduce their universities’ cooperation with enterprises to improve disciplines, and use examples to teach students.
Participants visit the computer-aid teaching centre of the Faculty of Economics+ and Business Administration in Vilnius University. And they discuss about increasing the application of virtual study circumstance in teaching.
Last day, all the participants come to the Bank of Lithuania. With the staff’s detailed explanation, everyone enjoys themselves in the numismatic museum, knowing about the history of Lithuania’s and Baltic Sea’s currency.
After the symposium, the participants have an in-depth communication on how to carry out the cooperation between universities and enterprises to train talents, use examples to teach students, and utilize the computers to aid teaching. It promotes our understanding to each other. We hope that JUEL can provide more support to improve the ability of students.
