报告摘要：

It is evident that extreme climate events serve as compelling evidence to support the notion that climate change represents one of the most formidable crises facing humanity. The intricate nature of evolved human behavior presents a complex and challenging task in terms of decision-making and the development of viable strategies to address the pressing issue of climate change. The current projections concerning carbon emission reductions and global temperature limitations may lack realism due to the omission of the social model of behavioral change in climate models. The dynamics of adaptive human behavior, cognitive mechanisms, and the tragedy of the commons are all significant factors that influence human pro-environmental behavior in the context of climate crises. The recent Corona crisis has presented countries with numerous valuable lessons to be learned. The current global pandemic, known as the Corona crisis, serves as a notable illustration of how human behavior is influenced by factors such as evolutionary processes, cognitive abilities, and the availability of resources. Gaining a comprehensive understanding of the factors influencing individuals' decision-making processes regarding crisis prevention and response is of utmost importance. There exists a significant potential for researchers to integrate evolved human behavior into decision-making models, thereby creating opportunities for the development of practical policy solutions and strategies. Governments must take into account the evolved nature of human behavior when formulating mitigation strategies.

报告人简介：

巴基斯坦科特苏丹研究院(Graduate College Kot Sultan)经济系副教授。他于2019年在南京航空航天大学获得管理科学与工程专业博士学位，于2023年在马来西亚吉隆坡建设大学(Infrastructure University Kuala Lumpur)顺利完成博士后研究。主要研究领域：环境冲突管理、行为决策、冲突分析、循环经济、气候变化经济学等。他学术成果丰厚，论文产出共计39篇，发表于Clean Technologies and Environmental Policy , Environment Development and Sustainability等国际知名刊物。目前担任期刊Sustainability特邀编辑，SN Social Sciences编委，以及Sustainable Production and Consumption , Renewable Energy , Marketing Intelligence & Planning等多个期刊的评审专家。
